Passive DI Box

This passive filter DI box is ideal for connecting your musical instrument to a mixing desk, converting a high impedance signal to a low impedance signal. It also provides a ground lift switch for hum free performance and an attenuator for compatability with any mixing console.

    DB1A includes an MU-METAL core transformer able to reduce phase and harmonic distortion to a minimum, with noticeable improvement of the linear phase even on very long cables. The audio integrity is guaranteed by low-noise, low-consumption IC for balancing the signal, able to handle very low-impedance loads. The input section features JACK and XLR connectors with link possibility and a PAD of up to 30 dB that permits very high-level signal inputs to be used.

    DB2A is an active 2-channel DI BOX that represents the most convenient solution for a long-distance, hum-free transmission of stereo signals. For obtaining the best electronic performance, DB2A uses SMD components, low-noise IC for balancing the signals and differential inputs to eliminate typical ground-loop problems.     Proel DB1P DI Box

    DB1P is a single-channel passive DI BOX equipped with the same type of MU-METAL core transformer used in the DB1A, which provides minimum distortion, linear phase and hum-free transmission also on very long cables. Thanks to the input stage design, DB1P can accept also signals coming directly from the power output of instrument amplifiers, PAD up to 60 dB. A specially designed input filter is also available for cutting any hiss or buzz noise coming from acoustic or electric guitar and basses.
